Ever told yourself "I'll start this task at a specific time" and then didn't? That guilt hits, right? Like, "I missed my chance, but tomorrow's a new day." But hey, it's okay to do things later than planned. You don't need to stick to a super strict schedule where missing a time means waiting for the next day. Sometimes motivation hits later, and that's fine. You'll get better at timing with practice. But for now, doing things at the "wrong" time is still doing them. For instance, if you're dealing with depression or had a bad night's sleep, you might not feel like doing morning tasks. Like brushing your teeth. But if you feel up to it at 4pm, go for it. It's not too late just because you missed the morning. Ignore that voice saying, "I missed the morning, so why bother?" This goes both ways. If you eat a chocolate bar on a non-cheat day, don't think, "Well, today's ruined, might as well eat whatever." Instead, think, "I slipped up, but I can still eat healthy the rest of the day." You don't have to quit just because the day's not perfect.
