How long do flatlines last?

So I've entered a flatline, which is good I guess. But as always, I'll probably end up relapsing after a while because I'll get scared my thing no longer works. Having no libido is strangely annoying after a while. I've read online it can take up to one year (!) to go away, is this true?

I think it depends on your situation. Are you a heavy addict? If you've been addicted for a long time, it makes sense that it'll take a long time for your brain to heal itself. I've also heard a theory about starting real and then becoming an addict vs becoming an addict before sex. Basically, according to that, becoming an addict before knowing real sex will mess you up even more, which makes sense, because your brain can't muscle-memory its way back into real sex. That's why newer generations are FUCKED when it comes to porn compared to the older guys who just jerked off to magazines sometimes after they had unlimited sex for decades before.
